back from hong kong... hmmz, overall nice trip but tik went at the wrong time coz all cheap clothes are winter wear so i end up not buyin ani clothes. but tat doesn't mean that little shopping is done.... well life there means "mai dong xi, chi dong xi, mai dong xi, chi dong xi.........." hehe... everyday walk till leg wanna break.
ok some comments for those who wanna go hong kong in the near future:
1) Shopping centres worth going
- APM : abit out of the way if u r travelling ard city areas, quite alot of shops for teenages (2hrs to complete)
- Langham : 15 storey, can ignore basement to level 3 if u r looking for cheap stuff. about 3 levels sell food, afordable and nice food can be found at level 4. 4 and onwards are shopping paradise for youngsters. (3hrs to complete)
- Shops located ard causeway bay. Tons of shoppings centres there, got to look ard and u will find wad u want. (whole afternoon to complete) Remember got 1 place call "causeway 2 " its something like those at bugis street, lots of small shops but tik they open after 2, coz it was close when i were there.
- Shops located ard Tsim Sha Tsui and Jordon. very good for time pasing and last minute shopping, also lots of shopssss.
* interesting note: dun be too happy if u see the lights on, coz hongkongers very waste electricity, lights and aircon kept on even if they are close and i mean the whole shopping centre is close.
2) Streets worth going
- Temple street : the first few stalls weren't interesting at all, walk down the streets and u will find treasure, things sold are abt the same as those sold in ladies market but at a cheaper rate.
- Ladies market : more varieties, very long street.... longer than temple street
3) Others (thumbs up)
- Ocean Park : lots of ride, world longest escalator (whole day)
- Victoria peak: very very very nice scenaries, but very cold (about 2-3hrs; nite)
